Correction Corner

Hey gang,

Quick update on this week's letter bag - reader Paula took me up on my request for a photo, and well...

Looks like I got the name wrong. Our thanks to Paul A. Rogers for writing in.

Also, this officially lowers our female readership to one. Anyway...

Look for a Calamity of Challenge update on Monday.

LETTER BAG

Hello BOOCOCs (Buddies of Old Calamity of Challenge)!,

This is your Editor-in-chief, Al “Doo Dah” DiNicci, here to welcome you to the wonderful world of adventure and excitement things! The art staff here at CoC is running a little behind on the latest updates so I thought I would take this opportunity to answer some of the hundreds of letters we’ve received in our email computer. So, let’s get on with it…

“Dear CoC,
I have been a fan of your web comics since page 2, and have a question regarding Cankor’s sight, or lack thereof: if Cankor has no eyes, how does he see?”

Paula Rogers,
Via emails

Good question, Paula, and congratulations on being a female reader! We try to appeal to both sexes so keep up the good work! To answer your query; keep in mind that when one of your senses in gone the other 5 begin to compensate. Cankor has the ability to feel and smell his surroundings stronger than you or I can. Hope that helps, doll. And send pictures next time!

“Dear Al and team,
While I do enjoy your web comic I did have to chuckle to myself upon reading page 5. I highly doubt that a human being, super or otherwise, could inhabit the same space as his fuutre(sic) self. Please let your scribes know that they have created a paradox for themselves!”

Brad Mitzel

Hey, Brad! Fuck off, you piece of shit.

“Al,
I am a teenager who enjoys popular music. How will Calamity of Challenge incorporate my interests in a way that makes me feel that you understand my generation?”

Toby Stoobings
Via Twitter

Toby - keep your eyes (and ears) open for some musical references our writers have added into some of the dialogue parts of the stories. And keep on rockin'!

“Dear CoC,
Reading mention of this character Cobraxe made me curious. Who is he, and will he play a role in Cankor’s fate? Thanks.”

TM Maple

Hello, TM. For you and the dozens of other readers who asked that exact same question(s) we can only say at this point: YES!

PS – here is a page from the upcoming WHO IS WHOM?:THE OFFICIAL GUIDE TO THE CALAMITY OF CHALLENGE UNIVERISE, or WIWTOGCOCU for short, and remember to ACCEPT ALL CHALLENGES!…DOO DAH!
