Hear it all.

Listen as I explain every possible decision I made in Cankor number one in full detail on Kyle Welch's Pages and Panels podcast.

Kyle has a bunch of great interviews on that site so after you listen to mine 4 or 5 times take a look around and find some other people who make comics that aren't Cankor.

All right - I finally have an update on when and where you may purchase the second issue of Cankor, aka Cankor #2...

The fine people/person at STRANGE KIDS CLUB will be putting the new issue in his/her/it's online store a day or two after January 1st. That's right, a new years baby.

and the online store for their site is here

Be sure to check out the other great offerings they offer.

In the meantime, if you live in Seattle then Arcane Comics will have some copies (Fantagraphics will likely have some at their store soon as well).

If you are in Florida in the Lakeland area then Coliseum of Comics is the place to go.

Last but not least Bergen Street Comics in Brooklyn currently has some as well.

There are a few more stores that I will probably send some to and I will post the names of those stores once all that hoo-hah is sorted out.

So, just to clarify I will not be personally handling online sales of the comic this time around. As I settle on some conventions I will post those as well. SEE YOU IN THE FUTURE.

Cover for Cankor #2

Sans logo. Just imagine a really, really, really great looking logo.

Wednesday, May 14, 2014

Since Cankor #1 is sold out and I don't have plans to reprint it until later in the year I thought I would share the first 12 pages for anyone who didn't get a chance to pick up a copy.

Cankor #2 is on track for early Fall, so pay attention to what's going on. Is that too much to ask? Mark your calendar by filling in all of October, November and maybe some of December. Don't purchase and/or read any other comics until then.

I'm back...back in the new book groove

Why are members of GWAR dying while those dummies in KI77 are still ruining my life?

So, I have returned from a successful trip to the Pacific Northwest and now I am ready to offer copies of my latest comic entertainment to the public: CANKOR #1

For one copy of this book please send to me $6 US. This will include the cost of a mailing man bringing said book to your home and slipping it into your window, as such...

If you live outside the United States please tell me where that is and I will tell you what that will cost to me, and in turn to you.

Please Paypal me at:

Please email me at:

Please note that I will attempt to make weekly trips to the post office, so if you order on a Monday I will send on a Friday. Get it? I don't really but I'll figure it out.

Know that in a few months I will be offering orginal art from this new book. Look for them?

Come by table X-07 this weekend at the Emerald City Comic Con and take a gander at CANKOR #1 (and maybe buy a copy or two). Featuring a new 12-page Cankor tale, short stories by Damon Gentry, myself and Aaron Conley, plus art by JB Roe and Travis Gillan. All in all 20 pages of full color comics and such!
If you're not attending the con I will be posting info on how to order this new spectacular once I have returned.

Support comix!

Here are two new Kickstarters worth your consideration.

The Comix Brew newspaper is going to be a local (to Denver at least) comic anthology filled with some wonderful comics and art, and Strange Kid Comics Magazine is always full of good stuff to read and ogle. Check them out and get them funded!

First post of 2014 - quick update to say that I will be at the Emerald City Comic Con this year as a secret non-guest/seller-man. Books Sellerman is the name I'll be under. Or Matthew Allison(?). What I'm saying is don't look for me on the guest list but maybe in the hotel pool with Brom and Jeff Smith.

Anyhow, look for me there if you're in the pacific northwest and thought you might want to walk around a big convention hall. More details as to my whereabouts at said Convention/Exposition. Please know that I will have copies of...CANKOR #1 to sell to you!!! Check back for more of the info.
